Miles later

It’s been a minute–actually, it’s been some years! But I keep thinking about my motherhood miles, where I’ve been, and where I am going. It’s time to document it, and hopefully encourage you along the way.

I now have four kids. FOUR! The oldest is firmly into teenage years, and the youngest is learning to read. I no longer actively train or have clients, other than myself. Most of my time now is spent as an home educator, something I never thought I would do. And although its exhausting and challenging every single day, I would not change it. In many ways, being a home educator is like personal training; each of my kids has different goals, and each of them need different guidance from me. I have to be creative in how I connect with them.

But that’s also motherhood. Different phases and different miles, bring different focuses. And I’m still here for it. And much like my original intents with the Motherhood Miles, I want to encourage all mothers along their pursuits.

The Journey Begins

Thanks for joining me!

Hi! I’m Abby, the mom behind The Motherhood Miles. I am so glad you’re here! I hope you find inspiration to try new things, travel, and train for motherhood.

The Motherhood Miles is all about the journey of motherhood: keeping those little people alive, and still maintaining your own sense of self.

I live in Bend OR, with my husband, three kids, and dog. As a family we love to get out of the house, so I’ll also talk about our favorite places to visit, gear we use, and how to enjoy the adventure–because getting out with littles is never easy, but its always worth it!
